CAI General Synod 2019 Lunchtime Fringe Event 17.5.19

CAI is pleased to be able to announce that its annual General Synod lunchtime fringe event will have, as its guest speaker, the Revd Andrew Rawding, rector of the Coalisland group of Parishes.

With first-hand experience of the journey of reconciliation, acceptance and forgiveness, the one-time British soldier turned peace-maker, Rev Rawding now works to reconcile former enemies. More recently, in his parish work, he has co-hosted justLOVE, a group of young people with a fresh perspective on the place of religious faith in their lives

Drawing on a deep reservoir of personal experience, Andrew will bring to this year’s Synod fringe event fresh insights on the crucial task of creating a more inclusive and meaningful Church for the 21st century and beyond.
